Governance Opportunities

  • Our Board of Directors provides strategic direction, oversight, and support to ensure ECHOS fulfills its mission effectively. Board members serve as ambassadors, advocates, and advisors, helping to:

    • Set organizational strategy and policies

    • Ensure financial sustainability and oversight

    • Support fundraising and community engagement efforts

    • Advocate for ECHOS and its programs

Board members typically serve a two-year term and are expected to attend regular board meetings, actively participate in committee work, and contribute to ECHOS’ growth through their skills, networks, and financial support.

  • If a full board commitment isn’t the right fit, consider joining a committee! Our committees focus on specific areas of governance and operations to help drive ECHOS’ impact. Current committees include:

    • Finance Committee – Provides oversight of ECHOS’ financial health, budget planning, and fiscal policies.

    • Fund Development Committee – Supports fundraising efforts, donor relations, and marketing strategies.

    • Programs Committee – Reviews program effectiveness, outcomes, and opportunities for growth.

    • Board Development Committee – Recruits and orients new board members, ensuring strong leadership.

Are you passionate about making a lasting impact in our community? ECHOS is seeking dedicated Governance Volunteers to help guide our mission and ensure strong organizational leadership. Your expertise in governance, fundraising, financial oversight, or community engagement can make a significant difference.

We welcome professionals, community leaders, and individuals with a passion for social impact to bring their expertise to our governance team.
